Multi-Cavity Optical Lens Tooling and Samples
The portfolio image brings together lens samples on a runner and views of a multi-cavity mould. It provides a useful example of the relationship between cavity layout, part replication and handling after moulding.

Features to review before tooling
Each cavity forms features that need to match the drawing. A tooling review can address cavity layout, runner and gate access, surface finishing and protection of the optical face during release.
Tooling and sample review
Sample approval should compare representative cavities for dimensions and appearance. Optical checks, resin selection and production conditions are project-specific and should be agreed before the tool is released for repeat orders.
