Moulding Clear Optical Lens Components
Two photographs show clear curved lens samples from JingZhan’s optical moulding portfolio. The different views reveal the profile and side geometry that must be considered together.

Features to review before tooling
The optical surface, edge profile and locating features should be identified separately on the drawing. Requirements such as clarity, allowed blemishes and optical verification need an agreed method rather than a judgement from the photograph alone.

Tooling and sample review
Tool finishing, gate position and release should be reviewed for their effect on visible and functional surfaces. Trial samples can be checked against profile, appearance and project-specific optical criteria before an approval decision.
