Long-Term Parts Supply

From the first approved batch to your next repeat order, JingZhan connects numbered mould storage, retained production files, advance material planning and agreed quality checks.

Numbered mould storage racks at JingZhan

Your mould has an identity and a home

A mould is a production asset that needs support beyond its first successful trial. JingZhan identifies and centrally stores moulds under a unified numbering system, with the associated production documents retained and filed together by project.

This connection makes a repeat order easier to prepare. The team can locate the right tool, review the applicable product information and check the mould condition before it returns to the machine.

  • Connect the mould number with the customer project and part reference.
  • Review cleaning, protection and maintenance needs between production runs.
  • Check tool condition and any previous service or modification before restart.

Mould ownership, storage duration, maintenance scope and tool release arrangements are confirmed in the project agreement.

Keep the files with the tooling

Repeat production should not depend on memory. Alongside the numbered mould, JingZhan retains the related production files and project information so the next order can be checked against the approved basis.

The file set is matched to the project. It can include drawings and revision history, resin specifications, previous moulding setup information, inspection requirements and approved packaging instructions.

Typical information used for repeat-order review
Record groupWhat it helps control
Product & revisionPart number, current drawing and approved requirements.
Material & processSpecified resin, colour, relevant setup information and handling needs.
Quality & deliveryCritical checks, inspection scope, labels and packaging instructions.

Record retention, customer access and any special reporting requirements are agreed for the project. Send revised files before the next order is released.

Plan the resin before the next batch is due

Material readiness is part of repeat-order planning. JingZhan reviews raw-material requirements in advance, using the order plan or forecast to check availability and prepare the agreed resin for the next production run.

01

Confirm the specification

Review resin family and grade, colour, additives and any customer restrictions. A material with a similar name is not automatically an approved substitute.

02

Review availability early

Check purchasing lead time and the expected quantity against your forecast. Where consistency is sensitive to resin lots or colour, discuss the required lot control and comparison method.

03

Prepare for processing

Match identification, storage and drying or conditioning requirements to the specified resin. Any material change should be reviewed and approved before it enters production.

Share demand changes as early as possible.

A rolling forecast helps the team plan materials and capacity. Safety stock, reserved resin, minimum purchase quantities and phased orders are project-specific arrangements, not automatic commitments.

Restart from the approved production basis

Consistent repeat supply depends on coordinating the tool, documents, material, process and inspection plan. Previous production settings provide a reference, but the next run is still checked before routine production continues.

  1. Review the orderConfirm part reference, drawing revision, quantity, resin and delivery requirement.
  2. Prepare the mouldLocate the numbered tool and review its condition, maintenance needs and approved modifications.
  3. Confirm material and setupCheck the specified resin and relevant production information for the planned run.
  4. Verify first-off partsCheck the agreed critical dimensions, appearance and functional or assembly features before release.
  5. Monitor and recordApply the agreed in-process checks and retain the relevant batch and quality information.

A design revision, material change, tooling repair or long storage interval may require additional verification. The review determines what is needed.

Inspect against the requirements that matter

Inspection is planned around the drawing and the part’s application. JingZhan’s dimensional and optical measurement resources support checks on mould components, samples and moulded parts, with the method selected for the feature being evaluated.

  • First-off checks establish whether the restart meets the agreed acceptance criteria.
  • In-process checks focus on the dimensions, surfaces or features identified in the project plan.
  • Final checks and reports follow the agreed sampling level, method and delivery scope.

Where batch identification is required, the relevant production and inspection records support the agreed traceability. Report format, sample retention and supporting material documents should be confirmed when the order is reviewed.

Protect the parts through packing and delivery

The approved part still needs suitable protection and a clear receiving reference. Packaging and dispatch requirements are reviewed with the order so your receiving team knows what is arriving.

Packaging matched to the component

  • Discuss protection for polished, transparent, cosmetic or easily damaged surfaces.
  • Agree whether the part needs separation, trays, bags or other protective packaging.
  • Confirm quantities per pack and the required part, revision, quantity or batch labels.

Cleanliness, special handling or regulated packaging requirements need explicit agreement; standard packaging is not a sterile-product claim.

Delivery matched to your order plan

  • Confirm the requested delivery date after tooling, materials and capacity review.
  • Discuss staged deliveries or replenishment quantities where needed.
  • Agree the packing list, inspection documents and shipping instructions relevant to the order.

Lead times, inventory commitments and shipping terms are confirmed for each order. Share forecast changes promptly so the plan can be reviewed.

Questions about ongoing supply

How is my mould stored between orders?

JingZhan uses a unified mould identification and storage system. Tooling is linked to its project records so it can be located and reviewed before the next run. Storage arrangements, maintenance responsibilities and any related charges are agreed for the project.

What do you need when I place a repeat order?

Send the part or project reference, current drawing revision, quantity, material and colour requirements, and requested delivery date. Tell us about any changes in application, inspection or packaging. A previous order number is helpful.

Can we reorder after a long production break?

Yes. The restart review checks the stored mould, current documentation, resin availability and production requirements before a schedule is confirmed. A long idle period or product revision may require additional tooling checks or sample verification.

How are material or design changes handled?

Changes should be reviewed against the approved drawing, resin specification and application requirements. An alternative grade, colour system, tooling modification or changed acceptance criterion is not treated as an automatic equivalent. The required approval and verification are agreed before use.

Can you arrange protective packaging and scheduled deliveries?

Packaging and delivery arrangements can be reviewed with the project. Specify cosmetic surfaces, separation needs, quantities per pack, labels, receiving requirements and any staged delivery plan. Inventory commitments, shipping terms and dispatch documents are confirmed in the order scope.
