Mirror Finishing and Tooling for Electronic Housings
The portfolio page shows polished tooling surfaces and small electronic housing examples. The reflective cavities and shaped inserts illustrate the importance of finishing in visible part areas.

Features to review before tooling
A tooling review begins with the housing geometry, mounting and opening features and the surfaces that must meet a cosmetic standard. Finishing boundaries should be identified so that polishing does not compromise important edges or local geometry.

Tooling and sample review
After machining and finishing, trial parts can be checked for appearance, dimensions and fit with their counterparts. Finish grade, tolerance and acceptance criteria should be agreed from the current drawing and reference sample.
